Many have no opportunity of trying any form of creativity or discovering their artistic gifting. Art is often considered unimportant, only for the rich and is not taught in schools of developing countries. However we have experienced how creativity bridges the gaps between social background, age, tradition, culture, language and even illiteracy. Also when we engage in creativity it connects us with God who is the supreme Creator. Our aim is to bring Colour and New Life through the Arts across the Nations.

Release Gifts
Most women we work with have never picked up a colour pencil or thought about experimenting with colour and the Arts. But when experiencing creativity for the first time, they discover they have hidden talents which brings a new way of expressing themselves and vitality to their lives as well as releasing joy and confidence.

Learn a skill
For those who have had no or little education, learning a Creative skill is something they can achieve without a basic education. This brings self-worth and encouragement, then enables the women to generate an income to provide for themselves and their families. For many this gives the only opportunity to overcome poverty.

Inner Healing
Creativity engages with people at a deep level to bring to the surface issues which have been buried and never dealt with. Roots of pain can go back to childhood and beyond. Using the Arts opens the door for inner healing and allows the person to express themselves, release the past and come into a place of peace and freedom.
The Core Elements of our Ministry
The four core elements of our work are Creativity, Intimacy with God, Inner Healing and Business Skills. We teach a wide variety of creative skills, ranging from drawing, painting to many types of crafts which is the basis of our work. For us to come into the plans, purposes and fullness of life that God intended, it is essential to have an intimate relationship with Him. Most of us experience some degree of brokenness and rejection throughout our lives and in order to successfully walk forward on our journeys we need to experience God’s healing touch. Through Teaching and Prayer, inner healing can be experienced to release truth and freedom from every hurt, pain and trauma. Those who wish to earn a living are taught basic Business Skills to enable them to start a micro-enterprise or small business.

Intimacy with God
God longs for us to have an intimate relationship with Him. The Bible says: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” James 4:8 (ESV). Many people are caught up in the busyness and pressures of life and don’t have or make time to sit quietly to listen to God’s voice. Whilst others don’t even know that God speaks or how to hear His voice. One of our main aims is to draw people into a close relationship with God so they can flourish in His Love and discern His Will and direction for their lives. By teaching the women how to listen to His voice and the ways He speaks, we have witnessed the transformation in many lives. Making Journals helps engage the women in a fun, creative and cross-cultural way to start their journey into intimacy.

Why Journaling?
Teaching people to journal helps to develop listening skills. By recording what God says it builds relationship with Him, brings hope and increases faith. Especially when we write words about guidance, difficult situations and confirmations. This enables us to look back to see God’s faithfulness and be encouraged. It also gives strength to overcome struggles or hard times as we hold onto His promises for the future. For some writing is difficult or they never had a chance to learn. Through creativity they too can record their journey using colour, drawing and painting to express their deepest emotions and what God has spoken.
Say it with Art
One of the most powerful ways to bring God’s Truth and Words of Encouragement is by engagement through Art. Rather than just listening at a meeting it brings involvement and interaction with those attending to open hearts so the message is effective. Women connect with God and He can speak freely into their lives to bring change. This can be used in many different settings and for all sizes of groups to bring a hands-on approach to teaching. When the women take their Artwork home, it helps to remind them of all God has spoken during this time. By using fun creative techniques, it also brings encouragement to those who have never had an opportunity to do or learn creative skills. Using the Arts is a non threatening way to reach out into communities to bring God’s Love.
Reaching the Many
Women in many countries often live pressurised lives giving out to everyone, but lack any encouragement or receive prayer for themselves. For those in Leadership this is often intensified especially in relational cultures where others expect their needs to be met. Busyness also prevents tired minds from engaging as they are filled with the many things they have to accomplish in their daily lives or problems they face. Using the Arts completely transformed a Pastor’s wives Conference touching many hearts at a deeper level to bring revelation of God’s Love and freedom.
Inner Healing
Life’s experiences, the way others treat us and circumstances can cause deep wounding, leaving us with feelings of rejection, poor self-image and lack of worth. This in turn causes many of us to believe lies about ourselves and have a very distorted image of God as our Father. By teaching the truth about our identity as children of God and that we are each unique, with our own gifts, strengths and calling, it can set us free to live and be all God intended us to be. This enables us to live a Life of Abundance with the ability to overcome rather than of comparison, disappointment and failure with a victim mindset.
Teaching and Prayer are given on Identity and our Original Design. This brings:
Confidence, Value and Self-worth.
Healing to areas where there has been pain and struggles to bring Peace.
Release from lies, wounds and trauma.
Renewed Hope, Freedom and Joy.
Business
Many women have little or no education therefore the business training includes lots of practical examples, interaction in small groups, role plays and discussions. This not only helps them to think about their next steps, but it also gives them confidence to start selling their artwork. The process of setting up a micro-enterprise incorporates mentoring and guidance to enable the women to become independent.
The basic business training
equips women with the skills to:
Develop unique products meeting their customer’s needs and desires.
Choose appropriate prices giving them an adequate profit.
Find suitable places where they can sell their artwork.
Interact with their customers and promote their products to increase sales.

An Art and Inner Healing Centre where women can also be trained in all the core elements of the ministry enabling them to reach into their communities to bring transformation.
