Daughter’s House

A house where hearts are healed and hope is restored…

Daughter’s House is a ministry which offers a place of safety in a troubled world where women can rebuild their lives and unlock creative gifts; Where core identity issues are healed so they come to know their true value. They don't have to be defined by life's circumstances, wounds from the past or how they have been treated by others. Instead women understand they are loved and accepted as Children of God.

The Spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.

A centre to teach, train, equip and release

One of the key aims is to teach, train and release leaders in the core elements of our ministry which will equip them to effectively reach the women and girls living in their communities. This will in turn empower local women to touch the hearts of many through the Arts and Inner Healing to bring transformation to whole districts and beyond.

  • A Training Centre

    A centre where young leaders are trained in the Arts and Inner Healing in order to encourage, equip and invest in the next generation.

  • Art to heal the Heart

    Creativity is used to build a bridge into hearts to bring revelation of God’s love, truth and open up for prayer to bring healing.

  • A Day Centre and Oasis

    A day centre and oasis from the pressures of life, where women can come to be refreshed, filled with rivers of life and be set free.

  • A Women’s ministry

    A place to welcome all women from every walk of life to receive teaching, prayer and healing.

  • A Place to discover who God is

    A place to discover who God really is and who we are, in order to be secure in His Love and able to stand strong in our identity in Him.

  • A spiritual House

    Becoming God’s dwelling place: “You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house.” 1 Peter 2:5 (NIV)

  • An Art Centre of Excellence

    All types of Art will be taught and used to connect with God, as an act of worship, a tool for outreach and to start a creative business.

  • A school which releases Colour and Joy

    A place to explore the amazing abundance of creative ways to express ourselves, discover hidden talents and release new life.

  • A Spirit lead ministry

    To bring Freedom, Revelation and Truth. 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (NLT).

  • Women find and grow their Passion

    Where women can find and grow their passion, vision and skills so it becomes a House of Abundance.

  • Restoring Hope

    Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul”… A House where Hope is restored to the many women who are demoralised, crushed and burdened by life.

  • Teaching God's Word and Truth

    Teaching will be aligned with God’s truth to break deception and false beliefs to bring transformation by the renewing of the mind.

The four Core Elements

The teaching and ministry will be based on the four core elements of our work, Creativity, Inner Healing, Discipleship and Business.

  • A variety of Art and Crafts will be taught to release potential, bring healing and develop skills for work.

  • Teaching and training will be given on various aspects of inner healing to bring wholeness and freedom.

  • Women will be discipled and trained in mentoring others to bring encouragement, grow faith and skills.

  • Business skills will be taught to those aiming to work in the Arts to establish good practices for the future.

Establishing a Daughter’s House

We will teach and train local women leaders in all aspects of the four core elements of our ministry in order to select a Leadership Team to run Daughter’s House. They will then be mentored and guided which will include further visits and video calls, to give instructions and discuss plans. Prayer and spiritual guidance will be given along the way until the work is established. After training the team will then be able to reach out into their local communities to run events based on the teaching.

Leaving a lasting legacy

The ministry will be run and overseen by the Leadership of New Life Art Ministries. We will work with other local ministries to bring unity of purpose in order to achieve a lasting legacy. 

Social Justice

We stand up for Social Justice and are Advocates for women and girls who cannot speak for themselves raising awareness of their plight to the outside world.

“We started a ministry with girls ten years ago and we were looking for something that would bring joy and happiness. We were also searching for creative ideas which we could use in our women’s groups. It seems like we were searching for you for a long time… and God sent you to us. Daughter’s House is like an oasis. I have a picture of a meeting room with air-conditioning and lots of beautiful things, people are coming from the heat and dust outside feeling tired and exhausted but when they come inside they get refreshed, happy and relaxed. Daughter’s House is also like a tree and many people come underneath to enjoy its shade. My friend was sharing with me that the best leaders are the one’s who discover and explore the treasures in people.
