Nathalia Diaz
Founder ( with Heidi Baker ) & former Team Leader of Iris Arts…
“Having Jane coming to Pemba and be with us for one month was one of the most God appointed seasons we have experienced since we were asking God direction about the next steps. The women enjoyed so much the arts classes since they had never painted or created such things. The classes were full of joy, fun, love and freedom and their lives were changed. We still call the art classes Mamma Jane classes. For me as a leader of the project Jane was a great blessing becoming a
Mamma and just helping me to walk through some very difficult situations I was having at work and personally. The Lord really opened my eyes to new and creative things and also encourage me to step more into prayer and intercession.
The women really enjoyed having Jane here and I believe God used her to break us ‘Out of the Box’ bringing us into a new season of colours, freedom and joy!”
Filomena
Mozambican Team, Iris Arts…
“I like the classes of Mamma Jane because she was patient and fun with us! She was like a mamma and we never painted before. She showed us love, colours and Jesus. The journals are the items that we sell the most because the visitors like them so much!”
Women from the Classes
Gracinda
“We still call the painting classes “Mamma Jane Class” because she made an impact in our lives and we remember her so much. We learned new things with her and most of the women like to do painting, because it’s not difficult and we all can do it.”
Others…
“We miss Mamma Jane, she was so joyful and a good teacher. She taught us how to do things and she like what we did.”
