“Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.”
James 1v27: New Living Translation.
Mission Statement
New Life Art Ministries (NLAM) is a Christian Charity starting and establishing ‘Creative Schools’ and Projects Worldwide in order to reach out and touch the lives of countless women, children and young people who are hurt, broken and lost; those living on life’s edge in marginalised communities in very desperate, lonely and poor circumstances, forgotten and neglected by the rest of the world.
The aim is to minister the Gospel through the Arts and Prayer by releasing creativity to bring hope, joy, healing and freedom. NLAM will also teach New Life Skills to open opportunities for work or self employment. We will work in partnership with other ministries and organisations within a community to teach, train, equip and pioneer new creative ventures.
It is also a framework to teach and release the body of Christ into the Arts, discovering afresh the beauty of our world, the gifts God has given us and the power tool we have in our hands to reach out with the love of God to the lost and broken.
Personal Profile
Later she trained as a teacher and taught many Art and Design related subjects at a multi cultural college in London for six years.
Next the Lord gave Jane a vision to use her creative gifts to reach out into the local community. For nine years she ran workshops covering a whole range of experimental art and craft related subjects.
In 2005 she felt called by God to go to the nations and has travelled extensively reaching out to many through the Arts, Intercession and Prayer Ministry.
During this time the Lord released a fresh vision to start New Life Art Ministries and on 24th October 2012 the Ministry was registered as a Charity.
